Schindler's list is a documentary about the holocaust. A man name Oskar Schindler who was a businessman and German, who only wanted to get richer by creating a factory at Sudetenland, making only metal item. Itzhak Stern is Jewish who work as an accountant for Schindler. Stern starting to hire Jews to work in the factory because they were very cheap then Polish. When Jews was being killed at the same time, Schindler was not aware at first but later on he finally open his eyes, and start saving some of the Jews by negotiating money per Jews. Schindler made some excuse about Jews working at his factory, but to keep them alive all are to work. Schindler saved about 1,000 Jews and was remember. The word power to me meant is power of that person (government, president, and your parents) is how high level the person is to make a speech, the speech are in command. People will follow the word of that person. The word power to Goethe is fear of him, because he has high power to shoot, kill, and abuse all (Jews) around him. Schindler thought of word power is money, by paying his way in and out of situation and laws. At the end Schindler uses his power (money) to save lives. In the movie German does misuse their powers. Goethe misuse his power the most just shooting a Jew in front, back, even three miles away. As for now some people do misuse their power, like George W. Bush (43rd president) sending American into war in Iraq.
Schindler experience more in the power of wealth. He made every fun life of his into paying people by telling and making them do what he wants. He had German praising him, and knowing his name at the time of Jews being killed. Schindler did not do any killing he just payed people of what he wanted. Schindler made a great partner with Itzhak. Itzhak open Schindler's eye by seeing what is happening in to world mainly Jews. By realizing everything happening in the holocaust, he felt ashamed to be a German. He would have sell his cloth for more money to save more Jews, he was ashamed of how much money he spent on useless things, instead he could have saved more lives.
This movie was effective, I have seen more movies about the holocaust, but this movie showed how a man that was greedy, turned into a hero. In the time of the holocaust, we younger age in America did not experience anything like that, by seeing all death of children who was younger then some of sophomore student, made you think a lot.
